Recently, I heard a couple of the guitar concertos played by Los Romeros and was impressed. Having the entire album is an absolute treat, though. The talent on display, first with Vivaldi's compositions and then second the skill of the guitarists, is just something you must experience. Immensely popular amongst guitarists for their clarity, conciseness and melodic attractiveness, the popularity of Vivaldi’s lute concertos (including another originally for two mandolins) was extended further in 1979 when an arrangement was used as the theme to the multi-Academy Award-winning movie 'Kramer vs Kramer' starring Dustin Hoffman.
